Mr. Tony Waller is the Principal Sales Engineer and Security Specialist for NetScout’s Federal Sales Region. In that role, he is responsible for a wide variety of technical sales initiatives, solutions architecture development and providing input to product management for strategic direction supporting NetScout’s Omnis Security technologies. In his past position, he served as the Director of Systems Engineering and Solutions for Bivio Networks, Inc. In that role, he led a team of Systems Engineers and Solutions Architects who provided advanced cyber security solutions for the Department of Defense and Intelligence Communities. Prior to Bivio Networks, he served in multiple senior technical and leadership roles for cyber security solution vendors. 

 

His personal expertise areas include Enterprise Routing and Switching, Public Key Encryption, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Linux Operating Systems and Cyber Defense. 

 

Mr. Waller is a Retired U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer and has held roles in Cryptologic Systems Operations and Maintenance, Information Systems Technology and C4I Systems. He has studied Electronics and Electrical Engineering Technology through the U.S. Navy’s advanced electronics program, and Computer Science, from University of Maryland.  He has been a Certified Information Systems Security Professional since 2010.
