Julian is the Managing Director of Jayde Consulting (trading as Threat Advisory), an Australian firm specialising in technical surveillance countermeasures, threat and behavioural intelligence, and managing trusted insiders. A veteran of the security profession for over thirty years, Julian’s experience spans security and risk management,

investigations, counterespionage, and behavioural science; across government, industry, and for key executives within Australia and abroad.

Julian is a member of ASIS International, the Australian Information Security Association, and a Founder Member of the Technical Surveillance Countermeasures Institute (UK). He is also a current member and former Board member of the Australian Institute of Professional Intelligence Officers. Julian has a Master of Science in Communication, Behaviour, and Credibility Analysis degree and a Post Graduate Diploma in Behavioural Analysis and Investigative Interviewing. He also holds diplomas in Government Investigations, Security and Risk Management, and additional specialised training in linguistic analysis, technical surveillance countermeasures, and a variety of short behavioural science, security, and investigations courses.
