Camilo Bolanoeslava

Program Manager for the Insider Threat and Counterintelligence, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Intelligence Directorate

Camilo Bolanoeslava joined the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Intelligence Directorate in September 2014. He serves as the Program Manager for the Insider Threat and Counterintelligence Programs for the entire DLA enterprise. Camilo was responsible for the implementation of the DLA Insider Threat Program which was the first Defense Agency to reach Fully Operating Capability (FOC).

 

Before coming to DLA, Camilo was DIA DCTC’s Liaison Officer assigned to the Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) Special Operations Division (SOD) where he was responsible for interagency operational coordination. Prior to that, while serving in the United States Air Force, Camilo became a Special Agent and joined the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI). He was assigned to Det 331, Andrews AFB MD where he managed the Counterintelligence Division responsible for the National Capital Region (NCR). Camilo was also the Program Manager for the Protective Assistance Operations (PAO) program, which assisted the United States Secret Service (USSS) during protective service operations for the President, Vice President, visiting heads of state, and other senior officials. Camilo was also selected to join the Criminal Investigative Task Force (CITF), Guantanamo Bay, Cuba where he conducted six terrorism investigations, which resulted in the first successful prosecution of an unlawful enemy combatant.
